First day of our competant crew course.

Death raft

Me and Mayuri on the sea survival course today. Morning in the classroom and afternoon in the pool with wet weather gear and liferafts. Now we know why you should never get into a liferaft unless your stepping up to it from your boat!

The beginning

First aid course with Keith the field medic (ex special forces) lots of pictures of parachute jumps gone wrong etc. A good change from the usual triangle bandage arm sling things.

Goodbye

Last breakfast at Iris's cafe Friday morning. Packed the last bits into the Micra (plus two more bags in Dave's shed), handed keys in at agents and set off for Plymouth. Met Bob & Carol and spent our first night on integrity.

Thursday night Greek meal in West Bidgeford. Dave, Sue, Lynch, Joanna, Guy, Linda & Maki to see us off!
